Sabixing Lithium Tantalum mine project is located in sabixing mining area, East mashonalan Province, Zimbabwe, with a straight-line distance of 180 kilometers and a highway distance of 240 kilometers from Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, in the northwest. The straight-line distance from the mining area to the nearest port, Beira port, Mozambique, is about 300 kilometers, and the road distance is about 360 kilometers.
Sabixing lithium tantalum ore project has a total of 40 rare metal ore blocks with a total area of 2637 hectares. Five mining right blocks have been proved, with an average Li2O grade of 1.98%. Other 35 mining rights are planned to be explored simultaneously. According to the preliminary planning, the designed raw ore production scale of sabixing Lithium Tantalum mine project is 900000 tons / year, equivalent to about 200000 tons of lithium concentrate. It is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2022.
Shengtun lithium, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, currently holds 25.19% of the equity of Huirong mining. Huirong mining owns the exploration right of Murong lithium mine in Yajiang County. By the end of December, 2020, the total ore resources (proved + controlled + inferred) of ore bodies I and II in the exploration right are 39.436 million tons, Li2O is 642854 tons, and the average grade of Li2O is 1.63%. The scale of Li2O resources is large, with beryllium, tantalum and rubidium as large deposits, niobium as small deposits, and Sida as medium deposits.
